Calliope Apartment (First floor)

Calliope Apartment is a stylish and recently renovated first-floor apartment in the Garitsa Bay area of Kerkira, offering a comfortable stay for up to four guests. Set in a well-kept three-storey building, it enjoys a fantastic location close to the seafront, with sea views from the windows and parks, cafés, and restaurants right outside the door. Its position combines a relaxed coastal feel with easy access to the airport, port, and Corfu Old Town.

The apartment measures 65 m² and is arranged on one level, accessible by stairs only, as there is no elevator in the building. Inside, it features one bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, and an open-plan living area with a comfortable double sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning is available in both the living room and bedroom and also serves as heating when needed. Wi-Fi is provided with speeds of up to 24 Mbps, and a filter coffee machine is available. The property uses an electric boiler for hot water, which typically needs around 15–20 minutes to heat once activated. A baby cot and highchair can be provided upon request, and free street parking is usually available nearby.

The apartment is located directly by Garitsa Bay, an area known for its seaside promenade, green spaces, and local life. Mon Repos Gardens and beach are within walking distance, as is the Old Fortress and Corfu Old Town, which can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot through the park and along the seafront. Supermarkets and bakeries are located approximately 200 metres away, while several cafés and restaurants line the bay just steps from the building. The neighborhood is lively during the day yet relaxed in the evenings, making it a convenient and enjoyable base for exploring Corfu town.

House rules do not allow parties, pets, or smoking. Quiet hours in the neighborhood are from 15:00 to 17:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00. Check-in starts at 15:00, and if the apartment is ready earlier, guests are informed and may check in sooner, while check-out is at 10:00 in the morning. The apartment uses a keybox for convenient self check-in, though a personal welcome can be arranged upon request. As in all of Corfu and many areas of Greece, the sewage system is old and cannot handle toilet paper or waste, so guests must use the bathroom waste bins and avoid disposing of any paper or objects in the toilet.
